As part of our commitment to expanding our eCustoms network, SGS has acquired Stella Operazioni Doganali, a customs brokerage firm based in Bologna with over 40 years of experience. This acquisition, effective January 15, 2025, reinforces our brokerage capabilities and provides valuable expertise in import, export, and transit procedures.
With a team of 30 experienced professionals, Stella brings local knowledge and a strategic location at the Interporto Bologna logistics hub. This acquisition allows us to expand our services in Italy and offer direct brokerage solutions to our international clients, reducing reliance on external partners. We also aim to expand our reach to key locations such as the Port of Trieste and Swiss border crossings.
