Switzerland to end NCTS 4 on the 30th April 2024

 

Switzerland have been operating in their new customs system named Passar since last year. Passar incorporates a new Export and Import system whilst also containing the new NCTS 5 version.

 

On the 30^th April 2024, the old version of NCTS 4 will be stopped. From May 1^st transit declarations must be submitted via the new Passar system.

 

SGS will be ready to submit declarations to Passar on May 1^st.

 

Please note that for e-clients who use TransitNet to submit declarations from Switzerland, the possibility to create and submit declarations in TransitNet from Switzerland will be unavailable for a period of time while we complete the transition to Passar.

 

Please also note that the new version of NCTS in Switzerland will no longer include the option to submit a Swiss Export declaration and a T1 transit declaration (known as “CHEXP” in TransitNet) as one declaration.
