Minimum changes from September 1st 2025

 

As part of NCTS 6 rollout, many countries will implement the first changes to their systems from September 1st 2025.

 

The first change will include restricting the use of security data to only “0” and “2” – it will be no longer possible to submit transit declarations with security “1” or “3”.

These changes will be made on 31.08.25 at 23:59:59 UTC.

TransitNet will implement this restriction on security types “1” and “3” from all departures on September 1^st.

Germany will implement this restriction earlier on 27.08.2025 at 00:00:00 CET. Until the restriction is applied in TransitNet on the 1^st September, users are advised not to submit transits from Germany with security “1” or “3” between 27.08.2025 at 00:00:00 CET and 01.09.2025.
