The Custom House – Simplified transits from the UK
Update of opening hours
Since Brexit became a reality many years ago now, SGS has been working with The Custom House in Ashford offering our clients a simplified transit process close to the most important exit points of the UK.
The Custom House, strategically located opposite the International Truckstop, offers the perfect location to perform your transit formalities in an efficient and cost friendly manner.
The Custom House and SGS also offer specially approved customs seals for any trucks which may require them.
The whole process from arrival to departure takes up to one hour maximum but often can even be less.
The Custom House have updated their opening hours, and they will now be closed Saturday and Sunday nights. The new opening hours are;
– Monday: 24 hours a day from 6:00 AM Monday morning until 8:00 PM Saturday
– Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
