Serbia to transition to NCTS 5 on 28.01.2024

 

Serbian customs have announced their timeline for migrating their NCTS system to NCTS 5 version. The migration will take place between the 27th and 28^th January 2024.

 

Planned activities for the transition from the old to the new NCTS 5 transit system:

 

• 27.01.2024. Until 19:00 CET – it is possible to work in NCTS phase 4 (submission, acceptance, completion of the transit procedure at the departure, destination and transit customs offices)

 

 • From January 27, 2024, from 21:00 CET to January 28, 2024. until 16:00 CET – the NCTS phase 4 system is unavailable and it is not possible to carry out the transit procedure

 

• From 28.01.2024 from 16:00 CET – the new NCTS phase 5 system is available

 

So it means that after 19:00 CET on 27.01.2024 until 16:00 CET on 28.01.2024 it will not be possible to submit or process any new declaration.

 

After 16:00 CET on 28.01.2024, all new submissions should be submitted in new NCTS 5 format.
