ICS 2 France and Ireland – User guide now available!
As TransitNet prepares to activate ICS 2 in France and Ireland on the 16th December, SGS have prepared a short user guide for users of TransitNet.
The most important specifics of ICS 2 between Great Britain and France and Ireland are;
- For accompanied and unaccompanied RoRo, mode of transport at the border is always Sea.
- Users should choose the route and vessel information the units will travel on
- For accompanied and unaccompanied units which travel via Eurotunnel mode of transport at the border is always Rail.
- Users should complete;
- Country flag at border = France
- Train voyage number at the border = Enter shuttle number
- Users should complete;
