Important information for NCTS 6 in Serbia

Serbian customs have announced that their implementation of NCTS 6 in Serbia will begin at 21:00 on the 28th May 2026.
The implementation is planned to take between 5-6 hours and will mean the NCTS system is unavailable during this time.
From some time on the morning of the 29th May 2026, NCTS Phase 6 will be activated in Serbia.

To help users manage the new requirements concerning ICS 2 in several countries, TransitNet has activated the “wait” scenario in Serbia which allows users to submit transit declarations with security “0” or “2”.

At the same time, when ICS 2 is chosen as an Extra Service in TransitNet and wait scenario is activated, TransitNet will add the ICS 2 MRN in the transit declaration automatically and submit the transit declaration to customs once the ICS 2 MRN has been received.

SGS advises our clients to ensure that the ICS 2 MRN is added in their transit declarations from Serbia, especially for transit declarations via Croatia or Bulgaria.

This is made possible and efficient using the “wait” scenario in TransitNet.
