Hungary to start in NCTS 5 on 21st January 2025
Hungary will start in NCTS 5 on the 21st January 2025.
NCTS 4 will be deactivated at 21:00 CET on the 20nd January 2025.
Hungarian customs plan to activate NCTS 5 at 02:30 CET.
Any declarations submitted before 21:00 CET on the 20th January 2025 in NCTS 4 format and not released before 21:00 CET will need to be created and resubmitted in NCTS 5 format once the customs confirms the system is operational again.
Hungary will start immediately in post transition period setup so previous transition rules which were valid in other countries, for example restricting number of consignors per transit declaration, will not be valid.
