Met ingang van 1 juli 2024 zijn er belangrijke wijzigingen doorgevoerd met betrekking tot de aangifte van farmaceutische producten (geneesmiddelen) en werkzame stoffen voor import.
Voor deze pakketjes geldt momenteel een douanevrijstelling, waardoor er geen importheffingen zijn verschuldigd bij binnenkomst in de EU. De Europese commissie is nu voornemens om deze vrijstelling te laten vervallen.
