Vanaf 1 januari 2024 zal de verbruiksbelasting op alcoholvrije dranken, zoals frisdrank en alcoholvrij bier, worden verhoogd. Hierdoor zullen deze dranken duurder worden, in een streven om mensen te stimuleren gezondere drankkeuzes te maken, zoals water.

Per 1 mei 2024 zal de Douane geen kopieën en digitale varianten van herkomst- en oorsprongscertificaten meer accepteren. Dit betekent dat originele documenten van cruciaal belang zullen zijn voor importprocessen.
